In May 2013, TLG released their CMF series 10 in Singapore, with a limited 5000 pieces worldwide, extremely rare Mr Gold. Mr Gold still fetch a good >$1k in today Lego market.
However TLG seems to take the extremely rare, prestige minifigure Mr Gold lightly, here is why.
The official WorldWide Lego website that tracks Mr Gold whereabout had been completely removed. The registration and the ability to print out Mr Gold Diploma is also nowhere to be found.
TLG had indeed made Mr Gold more like a marketing strategy to sell more of its products rather than keeping the Mr Gold legend alive. And that is real sad for a CMF fanfare.
Here is some sweet memories, who still remember these web pages.
Mr Gold Bios
Well, TLG had pulled down every webpage about Mr Gold
And now here is the deal. While registration had crease at official Lego website, with nowhere to register your Mr Gold, you may now find yourself webpage put up by shawn @ minifigpriceguide.com, whom hope to track every Mr Gold. And here is the Link .
Lastly kindly help yourself to the Mr Gold Diploma.
download the Diploma
put up your name
print it frame it
hang it anywhere on your wall
Everything about Mr Gold seem so cheapskate now.
